The Stehekin Pastry Co. is located two miles up the Stehekin Valley Road from the boat landing. It is owned and operated by Roberta and Cragg Courtney. They offer a sampling of fine pastries with the locals. Since 1989 the bakery has built a loyal following.

While there visit Cascade Corrals' Norwegian Fjord Horses. They are right at home in the majestic mountains of Stehekin. Used for Hike and Like It mountain trips - horse supported hiking trips that let you enjoy the high country without the weight of a backpack, along with the pleasure of hearty camp cooked meals. Guided horseback riding is also offered - ride a trusty steed to Coon Lake, about a 2 1/2 hour round trip. Tour historic Buckner Orchard and Rainbow Falls in a wagon pulled by Norwegian Fjord horses. Stehekin Log Cabins are located near the Stehekin Pastry Co. about 2 miles up-lake from the boat landing. Built of logs and timbers, these homey cabins feature fully equipped kitchens and comfortable furnishings.
